Phil Says
Other Stuff
There may be other important stuff which I think about. Here I will be dealing with miscellaneous things.

Margarine.
Living with other people, I expect that people may run out of something and want to borrow from someone else. This is fair enough but, you would expect a little respect for the owner of whatever is being borrowed. Right, now to the point... When I have a tub of Flora margarine, I like it to be kept smooth on top so that it is nice and easy to scrape off the top. It really winds me up when someone digs a hole in the middle, even when they can see (and know) how I like to keep my Flora. If this happens I get really annoyed and have to go and buy a new tub. (thanks to Jon for reminding me about this) Here's a little tip for people sharing accommodation: you can make as much mess as you like in your own room but, clean up after yourself, especially in the kitchen and bathroom.

Pride.
It doesn't matter what you are doing, you should always take pride in your work. People can tell if you don't care. What ever happend to 'The customer is always right.' ? I respect people that do their job properly and take pride in what they do. I think employers should make sure that their employees take pride in their work and show respect to customers. Don't get me wrong, not everyone cuts corners and bodges stuff, there are still people out there that do take pride. Do you take pride?

Consideration.
I grew up being involved with the scout movement. I also read the Mr Men books and I think that this is where I picked up some of my discipline, respect and generally showing consideration for others. It is the lack of these quialities in some people which I have a problem with. If I say that I will do something, then I will do it or let someone know if I cannot. This may be something to do with being a perfectionist.

What I enjoy...
Ok, here's a quick list of stuff (besides the obvious) that I enjoy. Climbing, Abseiling, Driving, Mountain biking, Skiing, Walking, Bowling, Pool, Skimming stones, Throwing stones on to frozen lakes/ponds, Theme Parks (Alton Towers), Gardening, Old interesting buildings, Fixing stuff, Wood, Watching TV. I've bought a Garmin eTrex Summit GPS and am using it to do Geocaching. Geocaching is basically a treasure hunt using a GPS. (see link on main page).
